George Ebey is the author of Broken Clock, Dimensions: Tales
of Suspense, The Red Bag, and Widowfield.
He is a graduate of "I became an avid reader at an early age. As such, I have always held a deep fascination for storytelling and have devoted countless hours in the study of great writers and their works in order to learn the process of writing and practice it for myself. I began writing short stories in Junior High School. I wrote my first novel when I was an undergraduate (unpublished). Since then I have lived the life of a writer, steadily working on my fiction and producing hundreds of pages of completed novels and works of short fiction. I truly believe that fiction and creative writing is my life’s work. Through iUniverse Publishing, a print-on-demand publishing company, I have managed to publish three novels and one volume of short fiction. I generally gravitate towards the mystery and thriller genre, utilizing my background in the Criminal Justice field as research for my works. My literary influences are broad. I believe that I can learn something from every writer that I read, both modern and classical. A few of the many who have influenced me over the years would be John Steinbeck, Edger Allan Poe, Rod Serling, David Morrell, Robert McCammon, Dan Simmons, and Dean Koontz." Keep Reading! |
